Securing good food,  cooking, eating and mealtimes consumes a huge part of our lives. It is part of our individual upbringing and life style, our ethnic culture and is increasingly an ethical or health choice issue.

How to make mealtimes fun and relaxed

So what do you feed the kids if you have recently become vegetarian/vegan/gluten free? What do you feed your newly turned vegan daughter/son? What do you feed a birthday party of eight year olds ? What do you feed a partner who is at risk from diabetes?

What do you eat when you are ravenously hungry, overtired, happy, bored or frustrated, pre menstrual, euphoric or newly in love? Are there patterns in your eating habits you would like to encourage, shift or eliminate…Lets cook and explore…

A message from Carol Chappell Who will host the third yearly residential Qi Gong and Brazilian & African dance event 
Hi Everyone,
With winter approaching I want to remind everyone that you can get in shape for spring with Chinese Exercise,  Ethnic Dance , Walks in nature and Lorna Tyther”s sumptuous vegetarian cuisine.  The Qi Gong I will be teaching this year will include 2 forms of The Six Healing Sounds – One is an ancient form form Huashan Mountain Monastery ( pre Cultural Revolution) and the second is what is being taught in Medical Qi Gong Schools today.  I will also be teaching a form of Tai Qi Ruler, A form of Taoist chi kung (or yoga), tai Chi Ruler utilises a wooden rod/ruler about ten inches long, said to have originally been derived from sword handles.  Practice will also include warm-ups, Internal Qi Gong, Tai Qi Qi Gong and closing exercise and meditation.
Qi Gong Weekend – Friday Evening, April 7 until Sunday Afternoon April 9.  All inclusive cost 345
Includes: Friday: Dinner, Qi Gong Practice 7:30-9:30 PM, Friday night Traditional Irish Music Session
Saturday: Breakfast, Qi Gong Practice 10-noon, Lunch, Qi Gong Practice 2-4PM,  Dinner followed by Samba Dance Party with Ted Moynihan and members of SambaCuisle with Samba Dance with Carol
Sunday: Late Morning Brunch, Qi Gong Practice 1-3PM ,  Tea and Snack before leaving

A fun event facilitated by Caroline Gregory to re awaken the joy of your own inner artist through diverse mediums, with some movement & meditation. 

This event is especially fun for parents and children all the family are welcome come with or without your kids




Stretching and toning to exotic rhythms  to loosen your senses and raise your female awareness through the undulating hip movements and beautiful arm extentions.

By concentrating on the vital core muscle the lower back and belly will firm up.

Shoulders and rib cage stretches will create a confident balance and deep breathing exercises will aid posture.

Each class will end with a guided meditation which will give you a lasting tool to guide you through your busy week.

Pregnant women are welcome with medical advise after 20 weeks and 6 weeks after giving birth 

Weekly sessions starts every Tuesday 8pm from March 2017
